Wander, forage and recharge in Singapore’s most magical offshore island.
Discover the diversity and learn the abundance the forest has to offer. With the guidance of our experts, learn about native edibles of Southeast Asia and how they are used in the culinary kitchens of this region. Learn about their medicinal properties and how to use them for healing and wellbeing. Participants will have the opportunity to sample in food and drinks and learn about the surprising nutritional benefits from nature.
Full day experience:
Lunch at a local seafood restaurant, alfresco with the sound of the waves lapping up to shore and with the birds for company.
After lunch, we make our way to Chek Jawa wetlands to explore this treasure trove of biodiversity and a secret wonderland of nature! Along the way, we will pass by some kampongs (vilaages) where people used to live (and some still do!). Other “residents” include the native wildlife of the island like the long-tailed macqaues and wildboars. This is the perfect opportunity to destress and tune in to the rhythm of your intuition.
Light refreshments will conclude our day before we return to mainland Singapore.
